K-12 Arts Supervisor

Title:    K-12 ARTS SUPERVISOR

Evaluation:    Primary Evaluator for arts staff 

Certification Requirement:    092, 049 or 042

Compensation:    Per district administrative contract (est. 115,000-170,000)

 

This position usually involves the supervision of arts programs and often includes a combination of arts and other disciplines such as library media, co-curricular programs, physical education or foreign language. This is a non-teaching, central office position and is the norm for larger districts and larger arts programs. 

 

This type of position is a full-time, central office position equal to other curriculum or program supervisors. 

 

The person in this role should possess an arts certification in addition to the 049 administrative degree. It is not recommended to fill this position with an administrator who is not arts-certified.
